Hi fandom! Are you getting ready for Halloween? What will you be this year? I have no idea for myself (suggestions welcome), but since I think I want to have a Halloween party, I better get cracking on that. My chemistry-teacher friend is going as Snape! Or at least, I am trying to convince her she is going as Snape (come on, chemistry totally = potions!).

People on AIM -- I've tried to install on this computer, but the laptop is so very old that every time I try to use the client, everything goes into molasses mode. I don't want to say how old this computer is exactly, because aimeelicious will O_O (a, a hint: older than the other one!). But I miss chatting, especially since right now I have flexible days/am not at an office where someone is scolding me for chatting (which I should probably not feel so pleased about, and should instead get on that damn job search).

Anyone interested in betaing an HP Harry/Ron fic? Right now it's not yet reached the Harry/Ron stage, and to be up front, it's already about 5,700 words, and has reached the sort of midway mark through what I plan for the story. I'm hoping to barrel through a bunch of the second half today (wrote and wrote and wrote on Tuesday, and then took yesterday off, because going from 0 to 90 writing-wise stunned me slightly).
