more on amazonfail, and a little on delicious green beans

Dear Author examines the meta data behind the stripping of rankings over at Amazon. I found it pretty convincing, given the the spreadsheet she has set up. I'd be interested to see more data analyses if anyone runs across them.

My email to Amazon garnered the same, "It's a glitch; thanks for your interest!" response everyone else is getting. Did that address my concerns? Hell, no.

I'm disappointed that Jessa Crispin of Bookslut posted about the Amazon fiasco with a somewhat dismissive response. Take a stand, normally opinionated woman.

In better news, I made the best green beans last night in the history of ever. Sauteed in extra-virgin olive oil first alone and then with strips of red pepper, then added a handful of chopped pecans to toast, and after a bit of salt and pepper added finally served it up with balsamic vinegar drizzled over it. Yum!
